Tiara Missey
President and Founder
Tiara initiated Project: FLOW with the invaluable support of the BlackGirlJoyChallenge Grant, an empowering initiative that encouraged young girls to spread joy to others amidst the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic. The visionary concept behind Project: FLOW was born out of Tiara's desire to bring happiness and positivity specifically to females during this difficult period. Recognizing the financial burden associated with period products, which are often subject to taxes in certain states, Tiara understood the significance of women supporting one another and joining forces to combat period poverty.
Tiara is a junior majoring in Neuroscience with a pre-medicine concentration at Georgia State University. While at State, she reigned as Miss Black and Old Gold 2022, is an active member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. and she serves as president of Project: FLOW at GSU.
